What a great way to close out the year 2011 — a Mass Innovation Nights event, our 33rd!  A chance to help spread the word about cool local products and network with interesting people.  Thanks once again to our hosts at the IBM Innovation Center in Waltham for making it so easy to have a great event!  And thanks to all of you who came out to support local innovation!
Our four presenting companies did an excellent job, both presenting and answering questions from the audience. The other companies were busy at the tables all night.  The experts were kept busy too — answering questions and providing expert counsel, including Chef German Lam who is there is help entrepreneurs stay healthy and happy.
We round up the most “epic” tweets, best blog posts, video (Cangrade, MyMentorLink, greenbean Recycle, BoardProspects,) and pictures to share (Glad you could join us, Belinda!).
A big MIN tip o’ the hat to our special MIN VIPs:

Twitter and FourSquare Super-star Eric Andersen — Fastest Tweets in the east and giving us props for the tweet sheets full of QR codes.
MIN Blogger and Super-star Tech Writer Janet Egan — this month’s recap
QR Code-monger and keeper of the presentation archive Tim Stansky — tweeting and helping!
Marketer Dave Cutler – Giving JobHuntExpress a tweet

And, we had the honor of hosting our Pioneer Valley Innovation Nights team as well, who traveled from Western Mass for the evening.  Watch for the launch announcement!
And we were virtually hosting too — Ralf from Germany is getting Dresden Innovation Nights rolling.  It’s been a while since we’ve seen him in person but he keeps an eye on things from afar.
Also, a special shout-out to Mosaic Archive’s Gerard Murphy who took advantage of our “Special Offers For MIN Friends” with a free ticket to Friday’s The Capital Network Minute to Win It pitch event — you have to check out his pitch…I am sure, had we known, everyone would have voted for him to present!
Fresh off the Today Show, Switch Gear Jewelry was doing a brisk business (probably not surprising with a major gift giving opportunity close at hand!) greenbean recycle and BoardProspects got some blog love from Zosa. Amy Castor featured greenbean’s concept on her blog.   Budibars kept us all going with yummy treats.  The organizers of ASH got to tell the story of their cause over and over and over again.
Remember, if you help spread the word about local innovation, we help spread the word about you — keep blogging, tweeting, posting, etc!
