Applications are open now for Techstars Boston. Since 2009, Techstars Boston has supported over 180 companies that have raised over $1.4 billion in funding. Techstars Boston is a 13-week mentorship-driven accelerator program for early-stage, tech-enabled companies. The Center for Advanced Manufacturing at MassTech (CAM) has partnered with the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development to launch a $2M grant program that will invest in small- to medium-sized manufacturers across the Commonwealth. Massachusetts Manufacturers’ Accelerate Program (MMAP)
If you operate in the semiconductor, battery technologies, additive manufacturing, or defense and aerospace industries, you can apply for up to $250k in capital equipment (50% cost share) from the Massachusetts Manufacturers Acceleration Program. CESMII Roadmap Projects Request for Proposals (RFP3)
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), in partnership with the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII), has announced a $4.8 million request for proposals (RFP) to develop emerging technologies for the manufacturing sector, including advanced sensors, cloud-based computing, advanced modeling and simulation, and artificial intelligence. The RFP will focus on addressing challenges in sensing, control, analytics and predictive modeling technologies. Applications are due August 3. More information here.

Bristol Myers Squibb is accepting applications for its BMS Golden Ticket at LabCentral Contest. Each Golden Ticket awards a winning startup one year of underwritten laboratory bench space and resident benefits at LabCentral, a shared laboratory space in Cambridge designed as a launchpad for life science and biotech startups.  Applications are open until August 17. EmPower Massachusetts is a program offering funding to increase equitable access to the benefits of clean energy. Opportunities are available for community-based organizations, clean energy installers, financial institutions, municipalities, and more. Applications are due August 18. More information here.

Greentown Labs, a climatetech startup incubator, is accepting applications for the Greentown Launch Healthy Buildings Challenge. The accelerator will be hosted with Saint-Gobain, a multinational manufacturer and distributor of high-performance materials, with additional support from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. It will provide selected building tech startups to gain access to Saint-Gobain leadership, potential partnership opportunities, desk space at Greentown Labs, $25,000 in non-dilutive grant funding and more. Eligible Massachusetts businesses of any size may apply for training grants through the Workforce Training Fund’s Express Program. The Express Program offers cash grants to businesses to cover up to 50% of the cost of training employees, up to $3,000 per employee per course. Additional limitations apply. More information here.

The Seed Investments Program is a two-stage investment program that provides up to $250,000 in convertible notes to pre-seed or seed-stage clean energy startups.
