Greentown Labs’ The KAITEKI Challenge aims to provide solutions for addressing alternative proteins, waste plastic recycling, and preventing food loss and waste. This six-month program will foster collaboration between MCHC and startups innovating in proteins, plastics, and packaging, with the goal of accelerating much-needed climatetech solutions. The Massachusetts Next Generation Initiative (MassNextGen) is accepting applications for the fourth round of the program. MassNextGen is a five year, more than $2 million commitment to ensure greater gender parity in the next generation of life science entrepreneurs. Applications will be accepted through February 12. Technovation Girls, a flagship program of non-profit Technovation, is the world’s largest global tech entrepreneurship competition for girls. The program offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to emerge as tech entrepreneurs and leaders. Every year, Technovation Girls challenges 10 to 18 year old girls to build a business plan and mobile app that will address a community problem.
