Last night, we held a Mass Innovation Nights event at Google's offices in Cambridge. MIN86 was the second event we've held at Google, and was themed "Innovation For Everyone", which meant all the participating companies were either a product from a more diverse set of founders or featured products addressing an issue of diversity.

If you made it to the event, you probably had a lot of fun! Maybe it was your first time visiting a Google office? One look at their cool space (did you see the fire pole?) is sure to have sent more than one person to their website looking for open jobs in Cambridge. Guess what? They're hiring! Google is more than just a beautiful office space. They're a company committed to diversity in tech and expanding access and opportunity for all. Liz Schwab, Public Affairs manager for Google Cambridge, spoke eloquently about the company's commitment to diversity during her welcome.

Once again, our friends from Suja Juice were on hand to pass out their delicious smoothies, coupons and other swag. If the smoothies weren't enough, our host and sponsor Google had plenty of sandwiches, spring rolls, tortilla chips and quiches available for the hungry attendee. We also had an expert from MassTLC, a local tech-advocacy group. They are looking for nominations for the MassTLC Awards. Take a moment to check out the topics and submit a company or person you think deserves recognition! If you continued on to the after party at Ames Street Deli, you probably saw the specialty drink they crafted for us, the Mass Innovation & Tonic!  Check out the collection of tweets and pictures in our Storify!
