Rain Wang is the co-founder and CEO of Skelmet Inc.
Rain received her dual-degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Toronto and was a published researcher in Medical Biophysics. In 2014, She joined the world-renown architecture firm Safdie Architects in Boston as a mathematician, focusing on developing architectural algorithmic design.
Upon meeting her co-founder James Cao in 2015, the pair saw the opportunities that rose with 3D printing, the power of algorithmic design, and the lack of innovation in eyewear. They developed the technology to present a state-of-the-art solution to the centuries-old industry in the age of Industry 4.0.
Rain and James were named Forbes 30 Under 30 Manufacturing and Industry in 2018.
