LEONARD TSHITENGE
A dynamic Boston Based Congolese American Poet, Speaker, Master of
Ceremony, Mental Health Service Provider, Social Entrepreneur and a Proud
Father. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, Mr. Tshitenge Co-
Founded Progressive African Network, Inc and uses his poetry, to organize social entrepreneurship, cultural events to advocate for underprivileged African Diaspora populations, continental Africans, including the populations in the Eastern Congo region impacted by the Congo’s war, known as the Deadliest War Since World War II.
The City of Boston has seen his contributions grow as a Poet-Activist,
Community Organizer, Social Entrepreneur, and a Youth mentor and leader,
advocating for people of African descent in their local and international
communities. He utilizes his unparalleled ability to inspire and bring people of all ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds together in the interest of human rights.
